Dr. Xie Wei

Dr. Xie Wei is a Singaporean scientist and commercial leader whose career spans scientific research, diagnostics, and wealth-planing advisory across Asia. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Biological Sciences from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). He currently serves as the Head of Asset Allocation at Huige Consulting (since 2025), where he leads the firm's asset allocation function and provides strategic advisory to high-net-worth and institutional clients. Before joining Huige Consulting, Dr. Xie was the Regional Sales Director at Fapon International Limited in China (2024-2025), driving commercial expansion and diagnostics market development across key APAC regions. Prior to that, he served as a Technical Sales Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific in Southeast Asia (2021-2024), supporting advanced scientific instrumentation and workflow adoption across research, clinical, and industrial sectors. Earlier in his career, he spent more than a decade as a Senior Research Fellow at the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) (2010-2021), contributing to national-level scientific programs and cross-institutional initiatives.
